SBSA’s Construction and Engineering Compliance department analyzes existing properties to determine the as-built components, underlying construction, and if the site was designed and constructed in conformance with the applicable codes, regulations, technical criteria, recognized industry standards, and if the construction can perform its intended function. Our analysis of construction practice is based on code and industry standards that provide sound and reasonable design, construction and rehabilitation knowledge. Our forensic engineering experts have testified in hundreds of litigation settings regarding the understanding, review, and repairs necessary to bring properties into performance requirements.
