snichols@callSBSA.comSheri Nichols, P.E., Forensic Engineer, holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Sheri holds a registered Professional Engineering license in the State of Colorado. Sheri provides structural, civil, and construction defect claims investigations including residential and commercial building evaluations, structural investigation and repair design for attorneys, private homeowners, homeowner associations, property management companies, general contractors and commercial property owners throughout the state of Colorado. She performs evaluations of existing structures to determine the causes of damage; these evaluations include computer modeling and reviews of on-going and as-built construction to verify compliance with structural and civil code requirements. Her forensic investigations include damage due to expansive and collapsing soils, high wind, high snow, and seismic design loads, and construction and design defects. Sheri’s background skills include structural design for residential and commercial properties. Sheri is a member of American Society of Civil Engineers and (ASCE) and Structural Engineers Association of Colorado (SEAC).
